Whether you want a minimalistic map or one rich with detail, you can include or exclude features as you see fit. For more advanced changes to the map's overall look, simply access the Advanced Options menu.

Customization Options:

1. Grid (Graticule):

The Grid, also known as the Graticule, adds a structured overlay to your star map. This feature displays a network of intersecting lines, each representing constant coordinate values. It’s a great option if you want to add an element of scientific precision to your map or emphasize the navigational aspects of the night sky. If you prefer a cleaner, more artistic design, you can leave the Grid out.

2. Constellations:

This option highlights the constellations by connecting the stars within them using lines. It provides a clear representation of the shapes and stories that ancient civilizations saw in the stars. Adding constellations can make your map more engaging and visually striking, especially if the constellations hold personal or cultural significance for you.

3. Moon:

If the moon was visible at the date and time you’ve selected, this feature will showcase its position and phase exactly as it appeared in the sky. Whether it’s a full moon, crescent, or new moon, this detail adds a layer of authenticity and beauty to your map. It’s perfect for commemorating moments like a romantic evening under the stars or a special lunar event.

4. Time of Day:

Every map defaults to the sky as it appeared at 10:00 PM on your selected date. However, if you want to capture a different moment—such as sunrise, sunset, or the precise time of a special event—you can adjust the time here. This feature ensures your map reflects the exact celestial arrangement at the moment most meaningful to you.
